Sometimes just imagining what you want in life can help you get there! Because without first dreaming it, we could never have wanted it. Here is a little vision of what a home with an amazing view can make you feel like.

Recently, I created a vision board. And if you have never heard of one. This is a great time to learn about them. Oprah is a big advocate for visions boards and she can tell you exactly how to make one and all the benefits from them. Go to her website and get all the yummy details and benefits.

My Vision Board-Seriously nothing fancy but these are things I want to keep top of mind and to make happen in my life.

Remember, “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.” And another of my favorites that helps that quote feel better- “It’s not hard, it just takes effort.”

Upgrades & Updates

Sometimes we don’t know the best options for updating and upgrades and you may never really know until you get your house on the market and get some feedback. This beautiful 5300+sqft home hit the market just after the big rise in rates. No one can change that but we did get some feedback from viewers and potential buyers saying they wish they had dual sinks in the upstairs bathroom and an open concept kitchen. Well folks, these sellers were able to connect with Shawn Wallstud, WallStud Construction, LLC in Fruitland, Idaho and have seen amazing results of what just a little focused change can bring. Back on the market and with four viewings this update was just what was needed.

Open House-Fruitland

Veterans Day

A day of remembrance is supposed to remind us of the things that bring purpose, focus and intentionality back into our lives. I know that I forget how much goes on beyond my little world. Having a day to intentionally remember why it is that I have such an amazing life or country or husband or wife; is just what I need to bring gratitude into my heart.

Have you ever felt there would be no way to repay for the sacrifices made on your behalf. Well, you’re right. There is no way to repay except for how we live today. Do we participate in community meetings, volunteer in elderly homes and support all of the structures of what really makes America great. I think the word sacrifice is what really makes the great, “Great”. Just like America. If we aren’t willing to give of ourselves, our time, and our resources to be a part of the greater good, there will be no greater good to sacrifice for.

Thank you, thank you and please remember to choose one thing a month you can do for others outside your piece of the world’s puzzle.

What is the American Dream? 





The American Dream is a national ethos of the United States, the set of ideals (democracy, rights, liberty, opportunity, and equality) in which freedom includes the opportunity for prosperity and success, as well as an upward social mobility for the family and children, achieved through hard work in a society with few barriers. The term “American Dream” was coined by James Truslow Adams in 1931, saying that “life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to ability or achievement” regardless of social class or circumstances of birth.[1]





The American Dream is rooted in the Declaration of Independence, which proclaims that “all men are created equal” with the right to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”[2] Also, the U.S. Constitution promotes similar freedom, in the Preamble: to “secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity”.

According to Idaho News Article, Blaine County Teachers are getting help to find affordable housing. Is this something we should think about for Gem and Boise Counties? Is there affordable housing for teachers? What can we do about it and how can we change it?





It’s no hidden secret that teachers don’t teach for the money. The average teacher salary in Idaho is approximately $50,000/year. If the average home costs $500,000 in Idaho there is a slim chance, they are going to get approved or qualify to make payments on that large of a mortgage without a significant co-signer.
